Sarah Ironside

After reading lots of books at university, Sarah Ironside travelled extensively and intrepidly. She joined bands whilst she was travelling and lived a bohemian life for a while, sharing music, literature and a love of humanity. She helped out, where she could, and let the wind take her. Since returning to the UK, she has been a wife, mother and teacher, juggling the roles seamlessly and still finding time to travel with her family, her children relishing in the wonders of the world and not once looking at a screen or playing on a console. And she can bake. And her house is always tidy.

Not really… But it is a bit more interesting than the reality! Sarah Ironside is a mother of two who lives with her husband and kids near the New Forest. Writing is something she has been meaning to get on with for a while and has finally made time for, so the teaching hours are reduced, the house is a mess, she buys cakes and her kids like it when she’s “into a chapter” because she forgets to monitor their screentime as much.
